Jefferson City Housing Authority
The mission of the Housing Authority of the City of Jefferson, Missouri is to provide decent, safe, affordable housing, without discrimination, for low-income or very low-income individuals or families, persons with disabilities, and the elderly.
The Housing Authority administers the public housing program and the low income tax credit programs. Public housing includes Dulle Towers, Linden Court and 2 neighborhoods. The tax credit program includes family housing at Capital City Apartments and senior living at Herron, Hyder, LaSalette, and the Ken Lock Apartments. The Authority also administers the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program for Jefferson City.
We are accepting applications for all properties. Applications for housing may be picked up between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Housing Department in the lower level of the Housing Authority's Administration Office at 1040 Myrtle Avenue. To apply for any property, print the Housing Application.

Nimrod “Rod” Chapel, Jr., is a Missouri trial lawyer and former Commissioner of the Administrative Hearing Commission. Rod heads The Chapel Law Group, LLC, which focuses on the protection of workers and their families. Rod is active in the community serving on numerous boards.
Duane E. Schreimann, is a partner at the law firm of Schreimann, Rackers & Francka. He has practiced law in Jefferson City for over 40 years in the areas of business, real estate and mediation. He was the mayor of Jefferson City from 1995 to 1999, and served on the school board until 2008.
John Landwehr, is a partner at the Cook Vetter Doerhoff & Landwehr law firm. He has practiced law in Jefferson City in the areas of commercial law, real estate and estate planning for over 35 years. He was the mayor of Jefferson City from 2003 to 2011. He remains active in the community sitting on several boards.
