The Housing Authority of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, will receive sealed bids for the 2020 Dulle and Hamilton Towers Elevator Project in Jefferson City, Missouri, until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at the Housing Authority offices, 1040 Myrtle Avenue, Jefferson City, Missouri, attention Vickey Hawkins at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. All bidders and interested parties are welcome to attend this public bid opening.

Housing Authority shall require successful bidder(s) to produce and maintain all required insurances for the duration of the contract under this agreement.

Maintenance Worker

The Housing Authority of the City of Jefferson is accepting applications for a Maintenance Worker. The position requires knowledge of general maintenance skills. Must be able to deal effectively with the public and work in extreme outdoor temperatures. Must be able to routinely carry 50 lbs. Applicants must live within a 25-mile radius of the Jefferson City limits, possess a valid Missouri driver’s license, and be acceptable to our automobile insurance carrier. A drug test is required. Salary is based on experience with bonus for HVAC or plumbing skills- base salary $24,960 plus paid overtime and excellent benefits including retirement, health, and dental insurance and paid vacation.
