About Us

The mission of the Housing Authority of the City of Jefferson, Missouri is to provide decent, safe, affordable housing, without discrimination, for low-income individuals or families, persons with disabilities, and the elderly.

The Housing Authority administers the public housing program and the low income tax credit programs. Public housing includes Dulle Towers, Linden Court and 2 neighborhoods. The tax credit program includes family housing at Capital City Apartments and senior living at Herron, Hyder, LaSalette, and the Ken Lock Apartments. The Authority also administers the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program for Jefferson City.

How to Apply?

We are accepting applications for all properties. Applications for housing may be picked up between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Housing Department in the lower level of the Housing Authority's Administration Office at 1040 Myrtle Avenue. To apply for any property, print the Housing Application.
